MyLoanCalculator.app ("we" or "us") is a free educational loan calculator. This policy explains what information is involved when you visit myloancalculator.app.
Your calculator entries stay in your browser
The loan amount, rate, term, and extra payment you enter are processed by code running in your browser. The site has no accounts and no sign-up, and the calculator does not send your loan numbers to us or to any lender.
Hosting and content delivery
The site is delivered through Cloudflare. Like most websites, our hosting and content delivery providers may automatically log standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the referring page, and the time of the request. This information is used to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the site.
Fonts
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests font files from Google's servers, and Google receives standard request information such as your IP address and browser type.
Advertising and cookies
Google AdSense is currently the only ad network we use. Through AdSense, Google and Google-certified third-party ad vendors may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are shown Google's consent message, which lets them choose how their data is used for ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at https://www.aboutads.info/choices. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful. Google receives standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you open. We use it only in aggregate to improve the site. See Google's privacy policy. Cloudflare also provides aggregated traffic reports from hosting and content delivery.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it to reply, fix problems, and improve the site. Please don't send Social Security numbers, account numbers, or loan documents.

There are no lending partners or affiliate links on this site right now. If that changes, we will update this policy and the Disclosure page before any affiliate links go live.
Sharing
Apart from the providers described above, which process information to deliver the site and its ads, we share information about you only where required by law.
Children
This site is meant for adults comparing loan costs and is not directed at children under 13.
Other websites
Pages may link to other websites and public sources. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
